And I suspect McConnell and Schumer have been benefiting from that aid too (since of course it is not like it was their money---it was the US taxpayers' money). That whole issue of the delta on what the USA supposedly sent to Ukraine vs. what Ukraine actually got--where do you think the difference went?
I am no fan of Putin and his cronies. I am glad Ukraine managed to hold out against Russian aggression. But let us not forget that Biden flat out refused to have Ukraine in NATO, did not give Ukraine the weapons to even attempt to take back Eastern Ukraine and Crimea. BTW, it was Obama who let Russia and Putin take Crimea back in 2014.
The Ukrainian oligarchs are corrupt as hell and we owe them nothing. Zelensky refuses to hold elections in Ukraine because he would likely be voted out of office. It is in the USA's interest to end the war between Ukraine and Russia. It is in the Ukrainian people's interest to end this war.

The fact that the WSJ twisted my words in the way they did for this story is absurd, but not surprising considering they have spent years pushing for more American sons and daughters in uniform to be unnecessarily deployed overseas.
