DeSantis Deemphasizes War, Urges Peace Between Ukraine and Russia ๐Ÿ•Š️

 


Gov. Ron DeSantis deemphaized the need for the US to get involved in the war between Ukraine and Russia, calling for peace as the objective. The war monger minority of the GOPe reacted with outrage, but so what? What did DeSantis say that was wrong?  

Of course DeSantis is right. The over-reaction reminded me of the reaction to Elon Musk suggesting that there should be some sort of compromise between Russia and Ukraine a few months back.  

I do consider Russia the aggressor. I am not for abandoning the Ukrainian people. I also recognize that Ukrainian leaderships is corrupt and throwing billions and billions at this does not make things better. The war is brutal on the soldiers fighting on both sides. We do not want it to escallate so we are dragged into it.
