Hey Mom, what went wrong? Had a diary expressing the wish to join Taliban.

How the heck did Trevor Bickford turn himself into a Muslim Mainiac? And even though the authorities knew and had him on a watch list, there was not much they could do until he acted out on New Year's Eve.

I am sure more facts will come out in time. Still, I would like to know what helped radicalize him to attack cops with a large knife.
