Why do we put up with the GOPe? No Democrat would do this for a Republican (even a GOPe Republican). But of course, Boehner was never really a Republican. Boehner's claim to fame was constant chain smoking, playing golf, and fund raising. Beyond that, he really did not care what was going on.

Seriously, try to imagine Nancy Pelosi crying over a John Boehner portrait while announcing to chuckles that her kids are Republicans. You can't. That's because many of those elected to represent conservatism can't even do so in house.
