The Children of Fátima: Lúcia Santos, Francisco and Jacinta Marto

The visions of the Virgin Mary happened Between May 13 and October 13, 1917. Francisco Marto died on April 14, 1919 and Jacinta Marto (to the right) died on February 20, 1920 (both to influenza). Lúcia Santos became a Carmelite Nun. Mary ask the children to pray for the conversion of Russia and to end WWI.  

Little Jacinta Marto (1910-20), one of the shepherd children of Fátima who saw the angel and the Blessed Virgin in 1917. Jacinta was a singer and a dancer, but she stopped those in dismay after seeing the vision of hell; she gave the rest of her short life to prayer for sinners. pic.twitter.com/s6SatIwoub
