The Defeated: A Review

Berlin, 1946. Crime is high. An American NYPD detective is sent to assist the fledging German civil police force (made up mostly of women and refuges to keep Nazis out). The NYPD detective is actually there searching for his older brother who is AWOL but was part of the 45th Infantry Division

It is on Netflix, so if you have it, it's worth checking out. The acting was ok, but the overall story lined seemed a bit strained and mixed. I did not like the story line about the 45th Infantry Division, which I think should not be messed with. The focus on post war Berlin with the political back and forth between the Allied and Russians troops (the cold war was just firing up) was interesting.
