I was going to "correct" you and suggest that the quote on your mast-head should be "...a function achieved..." instead of "...and function achieved.." but find that the entire internet agrees with how you listed it.
Very odd. I wonder if it was ham-handed in the beginning or Mencken was toying with us all along.
