A sad documentary. I wish people would recognize the damage they do to their friends and family when they choose suicide. I did not find it exploitive, but I can see how some would think that.
I remember reading this article on jumpers who survived (an exceedingly low number percentage wise, but it does happen). I also remember those who survive being interviewed afterwards. Their first thought was something along the lines "this is a bad idea" and the second thought was how long it took to reach the water. As this surviving jumper said: “I instantly realized that everything in my life that I’d thought was unfixable was totally fixable—except for having just jumped.”
