The Queen's Gambit: A Review

The Queen's Gambit is a fictional mini series about a chess prodigy named Beth Harmon (played by Anna Taylor-Joy). It is based on the novel by Walter Tevis. Her rise was a bit implausible, but I still liked it. Great cast, well written (in terms of characters created), and directed--it comes together well. Anna Taylor-Joy takes over the role in a great way.
