So far so good. I had no big expectations for this--but I like it. I have not finished the series. I do not want to over sell it (it may not appeal to everyone). I am also not sure where it is going (I have not finished it yet). We have potential messiah who may (or may not) be a person with mental illness. It is more of an exploration of how a messiah figure would do in the media spotlight.
It was filmed partially in Jordan. Jordan is now asking Netflix to not show it in that country. Michael Petroni is the writer and creator. Mark Burnett and Roma Downey produced it.
