The Aeronauts: A Review 🎈☁️🌧️⛅️

The Aeronauts is based on a balloon meteorological flight that took place in 1862. In real life it was two guys--so Felicity Jones's character was invented to create a more diverse story line for this movie. However, not completely of whole cloth--there was a contemporary female balloon pilot who had a similar back story. So "inspired by a true adventure" is sort of true.

The movie is not for the those who have a fear of heights. It was exciting and well acted. I enjoyed it. And while it took liberties with the facts of the true story--it captured the dangers of early ballooning.

  1. 1862, not '1962.' Other than that, thank you. If not for you, I never would have heard about this movie.
