Welcome To November 2019: Los Angeles

Blade Runner (1982)

We don't have the off world colonies or the Replicant robots, yet. Genetic engineering has not reached the levels predicted by the movie, but that is really just a matter of time. Sadly, having been repeatedly disappointed on this, I am not putting a lot of faith in flying cars anytime in near future.

Ridley Scott and the rest of the crew, however, did a pretty good job predicting the dystopian street scenes of Los Angeles in 2019. Becareful what you wish for.
