Powerline: Why Colin Kaepernick may not get a job and Kaepernick's Kaper
Do you really think Colin wants a job? If he was serious--he probably wouldn't have engaged in the kneeling thing in the first place. If you were paying attention--Kaepernick was in serious decline before the protests started. But even giving him the benefit of doubt on that--he would then take any gig in the NFL to work his way into a starting slot. Do you think the NFL is going to ban him if he could contribute to a team winning?
If he goes back to the NFL and doesn't perform--what does that do to his brand? I would have a lot more respect for Colin Kaepernick if he went back and risked everything to show us all that he is as good as he thinks he is.
