Parasite (Gisaengchung): A Review

This film is a dark comedy thriller. I liked it (it is in Korean--with subtitles). I do not want to give too much away--but it involves a poor family, with a lot of peasant guile, weaseling themselves into servant positions with an upper class family in Seoul. What makes this film work is clever writing that goes beyond simple class stereotypes. It was very well done and acted. It won the Palme D'Or (over films such as Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood).
