Lord Lucan: Murder and Disappearance


The Great Lord Lucan Mystery

On November 7, 1974, Lady Lucan reported that her husband Lord Lucan murdered their nanny, Sandra Rivett. It may have been mistaken identity--with Lady Lucan being the intended target. There may (or may not) have been others involved. Lord Lucan fled and was never seen again. It is presumed he killed himself (with his body never being discovered), but there is speculation he evaded capture and escaped.
