It Is Out Of Control: Pedestrians Being Killed By Cyclists in New York City 🚶 💥🚴


Little Mabel Jensen was hit by a bicycle in Riverside Park.


Mayor Bill de Blasio has aggressively pushed a bike-friendly agenda, adding about 100 miles of dedicated lanes for cyclists amid a spike in rider collisions, but he’s done little to address the danger that bikers themselves pose.

Since 2011, bicyclists have injured more than 2,250 pedestrians — including at least seven who died — according to stats from the city Department of Transportation and published reports.

We obviously need bike control now in New York City!  🚶 💥🚴

    250 injuries an less than one death per year in a city of how many millions? Why does this matter (except anything that happens in NYC is FAR more important than 10x the damage in some Red State backwater)?

      Rick, it is sarcastically making the point for "bike control."
