Winston Churchill, the RAF, and the Battle of Britain

Winston Churchill gave this speech on 18 June 1940. The Battle of Britain lasted from July to October 1940. The Luftwaffe mission was to obtain air superiority to support an actual invasion or surrender of Britain on Nazi terms. Fortunately Britain prevailed.
