Serena Skov Campbell (Aziz Ansari's new girlfriend)


TOM mentioned the affair with Abby Nierman that didn't work for Aziz Ansari, but here's one that did...

I did watch Aziz Ansari's Netflix special. It was more of "An Evening With..." than a typical comedy show. There were not a ton of laughs (but I still liked it). I was surprised the angle of walking into Carnegie Hall from the street to Stage Left. Kudos to Spike Jonze and Ansari for coming up with that camera shot.  

Addressing the event of last year, Ansari was apologetic on how the Abby Nierman thing turned out, and said fall out made him a better person. Not that Aziz was completely blameless, but is usually a bad sign when a person's date is on the make while on a date. 

Often enough, what was bad leads to something far better. It seems Aziz found a much more substantial stable person with Serena Skov Campbell (and essentially indicated she was the one), so congratulations to them both.
