Direct Your Anger Where It Belongs

I am not mad at illegals who come to seek a better life, but they still need to follow the rules. There are are also criminal predators in their midst, seeking to cause harm to this country (I am mad at them--I want them arrested and gone). We need to defend out borders (and that also means ports of entries, such as airports).

Capitalism is the problem? Getting rid of capitalism might be a good way to control illegal immigration, but be careful what you wish for socialists. As for employers who hire illegals, we need to punish them sufficiently so they stop hiring illegals. Civil fines sufficiently high to make hiring illegals not worth it will do it. That is called rule of law and protecting those businesses that don't hire illegals from those who do. Guess who benefits? Legal workers looking for jobs. It also encourages illegals who want jobs to go back home and get legal if they want to work here.

My anger is mostly directed, however, at the politicians who actively encourage illegal aliens to come here. Call them out every chance you get. Vote them out.

  1. You tell that socialist! George Soros is most of the money behind this border crap. We should put a bounty on him.

  2. Immigrants will put the left into semi-permanent power and they will gut, among many other freedoms, the First Amendment. This is true of both legal and illegal immigrants. You can have freedom or you can have diversity and a third-world population but you can't have both. This is the reality that conservatism never broaches. They've treated immigrants as non-human economic units without serious cultural and political impact for decades. That's becoming impossible now, the craziness and intolerance we see from the left now is in fact immigrant driven. The rock-solid migrant vote has relieved the left of the necessity of moderating their views for fear of backlash from the great, white, Silent Majority. Conservative and Republican con men can no longer deny the disastrous effect their support for open borders has produced. That's why Trump and that's why they're adrift.

But the poster is partly right, the wall is secondary, the real answer is to enforce LAWS THAT HAVE BEEN ON THE BOOKS FOR DECADES against employers who hire illegals, to strengthen those laws, and to try to eliminate every penny in welfare that these illegals AND THEIR KIDS get. E-verify is the real weapon and Trump and the Republicans have done virtually nothing on this front, the wall is largely misdirection. As always they've sold out the nation, their alleged ideology, the rule of law, the Constitution, and even their own political party, everyone and everything, for the benefit of their paramours in big business.
