I did see A Star Is Born recently and thought Lady Gaga was really good in it. I didn't care for the movie overall, but not because of Gaga, Bradley Cooper, or the other actors (they all did a very good job). Bradley Cooper also did a good job directing it. I do not care for the arc of that story and ending. The cult of celebrity (which is what that story is all about) is the religion of Hollywood, but it is a false one. The musical performances in this version, however, were well done.
As a singer, Lady Gaga is very talented. She covers a lot of ground.
