Apparently Gigi Wu fell off a cliff and help did not make it to her in time. She died of hypothermia. She was hiking solo. It is generally not a good idea to go hiking solo, especially without appropriate clothing and safety gear. RIP.
Ms. Wu is referred to as a social media "influencer." Influencers were hotly solicited by Brian McFarland as part of the Frye Festival. That didn't turn out so well either, and McFarland went off to federal prison for six years, but at least no one died.
