It's a great showcase for a couple of up-and-coming stars, but the melodrama is laid on with a trowel. Special effects are, for the most part, crude. But, when, Pharaoh's henchmen get their hence handed to them at the Red Sea, one of the best sequences ever.Do I ever miss it when it's on da toob?Hell, no!
It is over the top and Hollywood all the way, but God I do love it.
