St. Joseph Day Italian and Sicilian Beauties

Today is St. Joseph Day, an important saint day in Italy (especially southern Italy and Sicily).  Traditional fare include St. Joseph Day pasta, which is a pescetarian dish involving pasta, olive oil, raisins, currants, fennel and garlic.  Oh and bread crumbs to replace the cheese (and to remind you of sawdust when Joseph and Jesus were doing carpentry).  Oh, and there are St. Joseph cakes too.
