If Sessions had quit, wouldn't that have been better for Trump?



Trump has been hamstrung by his Attorney General recused. So if Reince managed to get Sessions to stay, he certainly didn't do the Trump Administration any favors.  Hell, Sessions could have gone back to Alabama and potentially won his seat back.  

No doubt Trump is certainly a difficult personality to manage, but Reince is weak.

    Disagree.

    Sessions is focusing on illegals, clearly a Trump priority. And, as not only the dfirst major R to endorse him, but also part of his campaign, he had to recuse.

    There's also the issue of Trump, knowing there was no there there, perfectly happy to watch the Demos destroy their credibility.

      Trump needed an AG to hold off the hostile deep staters. They don't need a there there to cause a lot of damage to Trump. I doubt it will ever get to him, but it is a huge distraction and intended to disrupt his administration.
