Purim started at sundown yesterday. The core of this holiday is the Jews being delivered by G-d, but also engaging in self defense. I am all for that!  As Benjamin Franklin used to say: G-d Helps Those Who Help Themselves!  I who doesn't love butter cookies with fruit or poppy filling?  And don't forget the wine!
