If you can afford this dinner at $76,000, you have the at least something to be thankful for...
Old Homestead is obviously promoting this to promote Old Homestead. It is a gimmick, but also a way for the chef to show off. For folks who are ridiculously rich and want to go all out, well this is the way to do it.
I will pass on the Waygu lollypops, but a lot of these dishes and drinks seem like you would want to enjoy and appreciate over time (not in one gluttonous setting for Thanksgiving). If you have the money and this makes you happy, go for it. I personally think it is over the top and unseemly.
I could think of better ways to spend $76,000.

If it's not being served off some naked chick, that's about $75,950 too much!
