  1. And that's the thing Evi. I agree that avoiding all performance art because of lefties would leave very little left beyond church Christmas pageants. So I still watch a few things. Unlike Ace, I'm still willing to watch a Marvel movie (not the best theater, but a good fun summer flick most of the time). But right now, I find myself more attracted to older stuff. I just purchased Clint Eastwood's "Man with no name" series as Vudu.

And I'm not saying Maggie is an ugly hateful person who should be punched in the face. But that's how Maggie's friends treat someone Julianne Davis. Not seeing Maggie glamorize sex trafficking seems a small price to [not] pay. I'm not prudish, and the Rule 5 is a bit of a turn on. But I'm old enough now to be far more attracted to a sensible woman with any figure than cheap sex. That's what Maggie portrayed in Dark Knight. Too bad she's not like that in person. I guess she's a good actress then. Reason enough there not to wish her dead or call her racist, but not enough to give her my money.

    1. You are entitled to support what you want to support. Maggie Gylenhaal is more a symptom than cause--when you have a studio production control that is about 99% left of Bernie Sanders (at least on social issues, they are all about raking in the bucks), you can expect this sort of thing. Most of Hollywood's product sucks. Some is excellent.

    2. That's why I'm doing a bit more supporting folks on YouTube, most of whom are moving to Patreon and I'm happy for it. When Hollywood seems lost on providing good content, there seems quite a large number of people coming up with fresh ideas. But they don't find the ideas of Stalin better than Hitler, they consider them both bad; and thus Hollywood mostly thumbs their nose (or steals their stuff unattributed).
