House On The Rock: Featured in American Gods with bonus Emily Browning and Erika Kaar

Neil Gaiman gets a ride on the House on the Rock Carousel

Update: Well, in Episode 3 (spoilers) they did not make it to House on the Rock (yet). They have to draw this serious out. I concur with the Forbes review.  Here is another by the Culturess. But we did get Erika Kaar as Zorya Polunochnaya.

The Jinn sex scene is not exactly I Dream Of Jeanie (unless you are into that)

Emily Browning at Laura Moon is back

On Adapting American Gods for the screen

The House On The Rock is a must see at least once in your life...

Browning:  Laura Moon is awful...

Rule 5 and FMJRA

TOM: From Happy Hippies to Angry Dykes

AoSHQ: Ace does not dig shows that are inadequately lit and slow paced...but I am an American Gods fan, so what can I say.

Don Surber: 'In America we don't worship government, we worship God.'  That is true for many (even most--Thank God) but unfortunately there are a lot of people who worship things other than God in America... Celebrity being pretty high on the alternative list.

  1. Growing up in the 60's and 70's, I'd see the signs for "House On The Rock" along Highway 14 every time we made the trip from Middleton to Richland Center which was about once a month. My parents, like many native Wisconsinites, wrongly associated it with Wright. I finally went once with girlfriend. I was not impressed.

    1. I love the place. I am a huge fan of Wright, but go to Taliesin and it is full of the most offensive prigs (I am sure nice folks go there too, but they are drowned out). House on the Rock is a freak show, flea market and roadside attraction. I get why Gaiman loves the place.
