Mel Gibson's Hacksaw Ridge gets rave reviews at Venice Film Festival

Hacksaw Ridge tells the true story of aWWII medic Desmond Doss who refused to carry a weapon and who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.

Instapundit: Are we supposed to separate a man from his art? Wait what about Nate Parker and Birth of a Nation and of course convicted sex predator Roman Polanski? Also, Hollywood is rather hypocritical about antisemitism: from the right and the left  (and don't get me started about all the anti Zionist positions in Hollywood and the left).

  2. I hate fuel oil explosions, they don't remotely conjure the real thing.
