This is classic leftist media manipulation.  I heard this on NPR today and I could just tell it was a matter of time till Trump was blamed for this. Sure enough that detestable liar Sally Kohn went there. Donald Trump is not President and does not control our foreign policy.  Blame for the Syria debacle falls to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.  

Obama and Clinton would have us take in hundreds of thousand of Syrian refugees (costing the United States billions of dollars) with the implied argument they are all innocent five year old children like the boy above.  What they leave out is how the Obama Administration does not let in Syrian Christians and religious minorities (even though they are the primary targets for violence in the Syrian civil war and should be given a priority under existing U.S. law. 

What they also leave out is the rash of sexual assaults happening in Europe as a result of Angela Merkel opening up the floodgates of Syrian migrants. And there are rapes of women and children by migrants of this civil war (and from the region) happening in Europe (and for that matter here in the United States too). The rape crisis in Europe is spiraling out of control.  Clinton and Obama would have it expand here.  

Hey media liars at NPR, let's look more deeply at Syria? Remember Barack Obama's red line? It was a joke. Bashar Assad continued going on and no one now takes Obama seriously. Syria's meltdown happened on Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton's watches and their ineptitude in dealing with Bashar Assad and the situation on the ground caused the civil war there to escalate.  But hey, don't believe me (or the Atlantic linked above), the Huffington Post says it too:

This is the kind of compulsive misrepresentation [pretending that she made Syria safer] that makes Clinton unfit to be President. Clinton’s role in Syria has been to help instigate and prolong the Syrian bloodbath, not to bring it to a close.

Hillary Clinton was selling arms out of Libya to go to Syria. That boy above is a victim of Hillary Clinton's policy decisions just like the Benghazi four were victims:
