I think that 10.5% is a realistic overall number but regionally it's worse and in predominantly black neighborhoods it's higher (discounting the whores, pimps and drug dealers who are technically unemployed but they're entrepreneurs.

Exactly.If you wonder where the 37 comes from, we have a workforce of about 250 mil out of a population of 310 mil and we know 93 mil are currently out of that workforce that should be in it.93/250 is about .37FWIW 93/310 = .3
