Happy Bastille Day 2014


Of course the French Revolution definitely did not go as well as the American Revolution. Yet we are heading in a direction more like France (and beyond wine and food, not in a good way).  
This is interesting too: The three revolutions of July.

  1. As might be expected, New Orleans celebrates Bastille Day with some GREAT festivities, large and small, both public and private (mostly balls thrown by various Francophile societies) Great times in the Crescent City!

  4. Don't think we'll be planting trees by the roads anytime soon, but it's clear people are getting fed up.
