Officer Joseph Walker charged with murder for defending himself and his family...

I heard this story today on Hannity and it frankly made my blood boil.

Walker had returned to New Jersey. While Walker’s local legal counsel said following a bail review hearing on Monday that the family was working with New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association to acquire the bond, Pope would not elaborate on the source of the money to pay the bond.“Suffice it to say, he has tremendous support,” Pope said.Walker is charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter in the shooting of Joseph Harvey Jr., 36, of Halethorpe.The police officer’s release followed new accusations from Walker’s defense team on Wednesday that he was run off the road and was the target of racial slurs.Pope called the case “textbook self-defense.”

 At least Joseph Walker is a cop.  Could you imagine the legal hurt he would be in if he was just a civilian, or worse, did not have a weapon that night to defend himself?
