New Jersey Senator Frank Lautenberg dead at 89

I did not care for his politics, but he served honorably in WWII and was a self made man. RIP.
Governor Christie to pick his replacement.

Update:
More from Twitchy
I would not be surprised if Christie did this:  "Some have suggested that Mr. Christie could even appoint the elder Mr. Kean, 78, as a caretaker senator until a special election is held. He served as governor from 1982 to 1990 and is still held in high regard by many New Jerseyans."
