I am sympathetic that Fetterman had a stroke, but Fetterman is not well (certainly not well enough to be a U.S. Senator).  Fetterman also does not want to be challenged on policy positions, such as defunding the police or banning fracking in Pennsylvania (and presumably the rest of the country).  Fetterman is a terrible choice and should be rejected.

A rapid rise of cases overwhelming health facilties (with a high death rate) is not acceptable--so a lot of politicians trying to prevent that. Flattening the curve is a legitimate strategy--the question is how to do it. Singapore, Taiwan, and South Korea accomplished this without forcing sheltering in place. Rather, they focused on hand washing, identifying carriers, and protecting the vulnerable from infection.

There is a lot of truth to this.  Israelis do tend to live well, in living in the moment.  Not in a reckless way, but in a simple straight forward enjoying life way.  Life there is tough (at least compared to North America).  People work hard, generally live frugally, but seem to enjoy themselves.  And they do live fearlessly.  Spoiled Long Island and California Jewish American Princesses are definitely not the reality of Israel.

And then you have one of the most miserable group of people living right next to them.  Palestinians are dour people.  Palestinians have a shroud of perpetual victimhood.  They are also trapped between their own sociopathic and kleptocratic leaders (Hamas and Fatah) and the Israelis.
