Unplanned: A Review

Unplanned is an emotionally powerful story. Ashley Bratcher does a great job as former Planned Parenthood Director (the youngest ever) Abby Johnson. If you support this issue, support the film. It is very well done.  I thought it persuasive and gives a different emotional perspective than Gosnell (which was also well done).

I am not suggesting anyone should compromise their personal beliefs in this regard, but a blanket prohibition on abortion is not remotely politically possible in the foreseeable future. George W. Bush gave a good answer on this years ago, that is a goal that will require a change of many people's hearts. The short term goals should be reducing the rate of abortion until enough people are politically persuaded this practice should stop.

Ganhdi, was a generally peaceful guy (and there were way worse leaders in the 20th Century than him), but the deification of him is over the top. It is interesting how the Left is so quick to reject Western morality and religion, but will go head over heels when some alternative faith is proposed. Eastern mysticism is so 20th Century, when we have new gurus to follow preaching a new world order.
