Robert T. Ure aka Chip Ahoy, RIP 😢

I saw his post back in April that he was in the hospital, not realizing he had already passed. Chip Ahoy, as we bloggers knew him (Bo as his family knew him), was an interesting guy fascinated by pop up cards, Egyptian hierographic, gardening, and cooking. He posted about that and more. I will greatly miss him. My condolences to his family. RIP.

Sad news from Lem's Place. Too bad, although I missed Chip being there.

We lost Political Clown Parade too.

I hope it is more of a temporary break or sabatical, than a permanent retirement. I don't like how things are going, but I understand the frustration for Lem and his need to stay employed.

Who the heck is "Ayran Wisdom" and why is it posting Trump parodies?

I posted the Trump 300 parody (Chip Ahoy over at Lem's posted the video too) and SAD Meade pointed out that it is posted by "Aryan Wisdom." Seems odd since the video is so over the top as to be appealing to people against Trump (although Trump fans will probably like it too). I am not a Trump supporter (and a big fan of Ben Shapiro, who is also definitely not a Trump supporter) and I thought the video was funny.

Meade of course has to twist things. Meade has a habit of playing the social justice warrior/troll queen and then goes back later and deletes his posts.

But is raises the question, who is this Aryan Wisdom group? It was started around 2015. It claims to have done the Trump videos (at least the website claims so). Okay, sunlight is the best disinfectant. What is the deal with Aryan Wisdom? Does anyone know what this is all about?

I am not a Trump fan, but he apparently has some racist supporters. Donald Trump, if he gets elected, will NOT turn out to be Hitler. Trump is likely to turn out like this other Austrian.

Hillary Clinton has her racist support network too. And even Salon has called Hillary Clinton out on her past comments. And of course there was that "colored people time" skit.

So if it is guilt by association, go at it.

For my Donald Trump supporting friends here is a Katrina Pierson Rule 5 for you...

I have previously done Rule 5 posts for other Trump women like Megyn Kelly (both pre debate and post debate with the Donald himself). Trump and Megyn have made up (sort of).

Pope Francis comments about Palestinian Leader Mahmoud Abbas may have been taken out of context…

My good friend Trooper York is troubled (and I share his concerns on how Israel is treated),

yet perhaps we should take media reports with a grain of salt?

And maybe Pope Pius XII should get a break too (or at least the benefit of some doubt)? Obviously given the horrors of the Holocaust, not enough was done. We can't ignore that and G_d forbid Islamist forces ever took control of Israel.

I agree we need to pay attention to what is going on. This was a good thing today.

Christians (especially in the Muslim world) are under tremendous pressure and persecution, so any overt support of Israel is feared to increase that persecution. That is part of the reason for the Church reaching out to Muslim leaders. Hence Abbas is looked at the lesser evil to Hamas/ISIS/Muslim Brotherhood/Boko Haram. I would suggest that is a losing dhimmi game, the only way to support Christians in the middle east (and the Muslim world) is to support them. Trying to appease thugs will only encourage more thuggery.
