Louis C.K. : No Apologies

Louis C.K. returns with no apologies. Good.

Before this whole thing happened--I liked some of his jokes. Louis C.K. was hit and miss with me. Sometimes he offended me too.  So I get it, Louis C.K. can be an asshole. Apparently there are a lot of feminists who never want him to work again. Why?

What Louis C.K. did in his hotel and dressing rooms was embarassing, but it was not a crime. It was not abuse of power either, which is what Harvey Weinstein did. Dave Chappelle does a bit in his new show about it (which is pretty spot on).

If you disagree with what Louis C.K. did and that is a deal breaker for you--I get it. Don't go see Louis C.K. At the same time, don't prevent those who disagree with you from seeing him perform.

As for these outraged feminists: they were silent when Louis C.K made fun of Sarah Palin and Trig.  Louis C.K. got an invite to the White House by President Obama after that.

If you can't make fun of annoying David Hogg, who can you make fun of?  

Louis CK is right and doesn't care what you think (importantly, however, the audience laughed)

'You’re not interesting because you went to a high school where kids got shot. Why does that mean I have to listen to you? Why does that make you interesting. You didn’t get shot. You pushed some fat kid in the way and now I gotta listen to you talking,' he added.  

All the while the audience is hooting and howling in laughter.

Comedians are supposed to be funny. So what if Louis CK is a jerk, he's funny. Lighten up.

Just talked to James Dolce, owner of Governor’s Club where Louis C.K. performed: "It's comedy. You know who you’re coming to see. The people who were upset about it probably weren’t at the show. He got a standing ovation. He brought the house down. He’s a genius."

The Parkland kids are grotesque and non-binary people have head problems. Louis C.K.'s great crime is to make funny jokes about them while all the normals in America are mocking privately out of fear on an insane liberal response.

Not to be a hypocrite. I did not care for it when Louis CK trashed Sarah Palin (and Obama invited him to the White House). I did not think his Sarah Palin jokes funny, but that's me. To me the real issue was Obama inviting him to the White House (after getting all offended over Rush mocking Sandra Fluke). The recent set I thought was funny. It depends who's ox is being gored, but hey, if he can make jokes like that and get people to see him, so be it.

Louis CK: Hey, I got an invite to the White House!

Warning:  Very offensive language.  Where is the outrage over these comments by Louis CK?  Or how about this comment by Louis CK.  This is the guy who was going to do the White House Correspondence Dinner this year until Greta Van Susteren threatened to boycott it.

Louis CK got a personal invite to the Barack Obama White House after these comments were made. I am not for hate crimes and I am for free speech.  I generally do not take jokes that seriously:  either they are funny or they are not.  But we should be held acceptable for what we say in terms of public opinion.  And you cannot have it both ways, you cannot attack Rush Limbaugh over his comments and then condone comments like this from Louis CK just because he agrees with you politically.  Barack Obama is an absolute disgrace for condoning this.  And Barack Obama has condoned it.

And to all those faux outraged women of the left like Jane Fonda, Gloria Steinem, The View, and Maureen Dowd freaking out about Rush Limbaugh, what hypocrites you are in not defending Sarah Palin from this.  You disgust me.

And to those Republicans who have failed to defend Sarah Palin from these attacks...shame on you too.  And Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul? How about speaking up in defense of Mrs. Palin?

Oh and Sandra Fluke? She is in Spain and Italy this week with her boyfriend.  So pay for that contraception for her so she can get good cultural enrichment!

But the Obama staff love women...

Respect?  Not so much...
