I don't pay too much attention to Sarah Elizabeth Cupp. She was actually correct about what she said about Michael Avenatti. She was also trotted out recently by CNN to dis Kanye and Trump. There is no one left on CNN's who's opinion I care about (although she is less offensive than the "conservative" poo throwing monkeys they have at MSNBC). There are a quite a few celebrity "conservatives "out there that aren't all that much conservative. They are on tv as actors playing conservatives (or caricatures of conservatives) rather than being actual conservative commentators. So the petting zoo conservative observation made me laugh (thanks J. Robert Smith).

S.E. Cupp's Newt Gingrich, Natural Woman

I don’t like to peddle in sexist stereotypes, but the poor girl is an emotional wreck, and needs an intervention. As part of the womanfolk clan myself, it’s therefore my duty to give Ms. Gingrich a serious reality check, and save her from herself. Because…I care. 

It all started when that no-good prom king Mitt Romney did Newt terribly wrong. Everybody knows you don’t double-cross the most popular girl in school, and Newt was just that, for a little while at least. Mitt should have known who he was up against. Newt didn’t get to where she was by being nice. She knows how to fight dirty — she’s had years of practice.

So when Mitt unexpectedly stole Newt’s thunder, everyone in school could see the writing on the wall. Ms. Gingrich was going to lose it. And lose it she did...

Remind me never to get S.E. Cupp mad at me.  Ouch!


Update:  I like this Newt too.  Too bad the damage is done.
