343 years ago, on September 12, 1683, the army of the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland, including the legendary Winged Hussars, and the troops of the Holy Roman Empire, under the command of the King Jan III Sobieski, defeated the Ottoman army near Vienna - saving Europe.
