In Oklahoma, where Ms. Warren originates, being a member of one of the nations is a legal matter. If she is not on the rolls, she is not Native American.
She may have DNA, but she's not legally a Native American.
If she is on the rolls, she received money from both the Nation and the Feds, and is legally a Native American.
Real easy to prove, or disprove, but I don't see anyone taking this angle.
And, if she's not legally Native American, Harvard has an obligation to fire her for fraud in falsifying her application (demographic questions).
The DNA connection is that Native Americans and Elizabeth Warren share the same DNA out of Africa...basically there is no proof she has any Indian ancestry.
