Brad Neely: Washington
Completely OTT and irreverent, but (even as a big Washington fan) I still find it funny.

Honoring President George H.W. Bush
Rush Limbaugh: Bob Dole stands to salute his rival
Bob Dole stands for George H.W. Bush
Rush was very good today explaining this. I encourage you to read what he wrote (and said today on his show).

President Donald Trump salutes President George H.W. Bush
The leftist media mocked this too, so bitter.
It is ok Mr. President, the media even ran a hit piece on President Bush's service dog.

Ladies of Andrew Jackson Rule 5
While I am good with gun-toting Harriet Tubman bumping Andrew Jackson off the $20, that is not to say there are a lot of things to like about President Andrew Jackson (even if he was a Democrat). It was the "Corrupt Bargain" of 1824 that led to the Democrat Party (many Trump and Sanders supporters suspect that is happening again now). So why not a Rule 5 post on the Ladies of Andrew Jackson? Just don't say anything disrespectful of them, or Andrew Jackson will come back from the grave and challenge you to a duel (and you will deserve what ever you get).

Rachel Donelson Jackson (a very lovely woman)
Rachel Jackson died before Andrew Jackson's inauguration, so she never served as First Lady. That ceremonial role was shared by her niece Emily Donelson and his daughter in law Sarah Yorke Jackson. Andrew Jackson never forgave the rumors raised about his wife and blamed that gossip on her untimely death.
