Karmelo Anthony Found Guilty of Murder

It didn't sound like trial was going well for Mr. Anthony and sure enough--it wasn't.

My heart goes out to the Metcalf family. While I support the verdict, it's tragic for Anthony's family too.

Raising boys to think it is ok to stab someone if they "lay hands on you" (regardless of level) is the same culture that results in dozens of black on black shootings every weekend in Chicago. That is the tragedy of this, it just keeps escallating.

At least dueling culture, back in the day, had specific rules. This is just thug stuff. Now Karmelo Anthony will have years to contemplate his actions.

The jury sentenced Karmelo Anthony to 35 years. He is eligible for parole in 17.5 years.

So far the claims of raaaaacism are not preventing Karmelo's black coach and teammates from testifying. Because people of good faith are horrified by a kid murdering another kid over something so trivial. The prosecution has rested. The Defense is still calling witnesses.

Justice for Henry Nowak

Henry Nowak (a student) was the innocent victim of a stabbing, but police in the UK arrested and handcuffed Henry and he bled out (without getting treatment). Political correctness and accusations of racism run wild.

Sydney Sweeney

This is mostly false outrage controversy. No one is really offended by this ad campaign. Saying someone has great ~~genes~~ jeans is not eugenics (a bit cheeky perhaps, but that is about it). I have heard that phrase "you gave great genes" said to beautiful people of all races and backgrounds. It is not offensive (unless you lean on the ugly side of the spectrum).

And you can tell that no one was really offended because, unlike the infamous Bud Light campaign, this actually benefited American Eagle (at least in the short term). The stock shot up. And it had just enough vibe to go viral. So the ad campaign worked.
