Sinners



It was a good horror movie, but most Oscar nominations ever? Only because there is no substantive competition. One Battle After Another got a lot of nominations too, but it is not a good film. Those are the only big contenders and both would normally (back in the day) not get any recognition. 

Sinners is very derivative of Quentin Tarratino's work. That is not necessarily bad, but it is hardly that original. I did like the movie. I thought the cinematography and acting were well done.
