Heartbreaking: 20 children among 26 dead in Newton, Connecticut school shooting...

Breaking news. The gunman is dead after committing suicide.  Update:  [Actual shooter was his brother Adam Lanza, 20 years old, autistic with personality disorder]  Ryan Lanza, 24 years old, the shooter killed his father in Hoboken, New Jersey then went to Connecticut to the school where his mother worked as a kindergarten teacher.  He killed her and then killed kindergarten students.  The weapons used were a rifle and two 9mm pistols.  [Four weapons recovered]

My heart goes out to the victims and their families.  I know that gun control will come up again about this incident.  But Instapundit addresses it up front:  It takes people with guns to stop murderers with guns.  It is not like New Jersey (where the killer was from) and Connecticut are strong second amendment states and the fact that less people are carrying weapons there might be part of the problem.

Update:  David Frum, Piers Morgan, Michael Moore are assholes.
