Democrats may be also be plotting to get Graham Platner out of his race, because they fear Susan Collins winning in the general (do the the drip drip drip of one creepy weirdness after another). There is no morality in this, other than Democrats winning. Say what you will about the Democrat Party, but it has no issue taking out its own to maintain party power.
