Yevgeny Prigozhin and the Wagner Group

As the Russian war in Ukraine gets to its 1st anniversary, Yevgeny Prigozhin and his Wagner Group are backing Putin's ambitions.  As a private security contractors, the Wagner Group is technicaly illegal in Russia, but Putin is not a rule of law sort of guy and it is essentially proxy Russian military unit, so no problem with that. The 50,000 members are a core of "retired" paid special forces and elite Russian troops, leading hired mercinaries and prison conscripts.
