I have noted before the belated hypocrisy of the Met in giving James Levine and then Placido Domingo the boot over #MeToo allegations. The Met worked out a settlement with Levine, but then still show both his and Domingo's works. Hey, they posted about him today.
I am not encouraging or promoting those in more senior positions using that to coerce sex from others in the work place. Still, sexual politics in the arts and with celebrities are complex and not all alleged victims are really victims. Can celebrities act inappropriately? Absolutely. Celebrities and those in power are also targets. It does not seem fair sum up a professional life over these sort of allegations.
