Isn't the Trump Economy helping all working class and poor Americans?

Update: Black Unemployment rate lowest in seventeen years!

Charles Barkley helped Doug Jones's victory last night...

Black vote was about 29% and it went to Jones

Black voters are about 17% in Alabama

When Donald Trump was running for President, he did some reach out to African Americans, asking what do they have to lose by voting for him? Unfortunately, efforts for communication seem to have stalled.

A bad turning point was the Charlottesville riot. Then President said both sides were to blame, which was used by the media to say Trump was supporting Neo Nazis. While there was some violence from the Antifa protesters, and the police should have intervened far sooner (and were stopped by doing so by Democrat politicians), the violent attack that resulted in the death of a protester was by a Neo Nazi sympathizer.

Barkley is right about warning Democrats not to take the black vote for granted. But isn't the current booming economy helping the black community? Hispanic unemployment is at an all time low.  Shouldn't the Trump Administration be making that a major focus of its success? What can be done by the Administration to expand that success? Democrats are out there claiming this recent growth is due to Barack Obama. Why isn't that being challenged?

Part of it is the media constantly wants to portray Trump and the GOP as a racist or favoring the rich.  But Trump should be touting how his economic policies are helping the poor of all races. We know the Democrats will be running hard on sexual harassment (mostly focused on Trump, but on all Republicans they can drag in).

Trump and the GOP need all the help they can get. This is a multi front war. We have midterms coming in 2018 and an election in 2020. Yes there are serious risks, but don't buy the hyperventilation of the media or the GOPe. Still, Trump and the GOP need to remember the ABCs, always be closing.

Perception matters and needs to be communicated
