With the countdown to Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday immanent and the depressing news out of San Bernardino today, I want to change the topic to something a bit more positive (or at least less depressing).
Frank Sinatra's architecture taste was (mostly) good mid century (the Bel Air home interior style below is probably due to a subsequent owner). Frank Sinatra is usually associated with Hoboken (well what little is left), Jersey Shore, Manhattan, Bel Air, Los Angeles (with photos), Las Vegas and Palm Springs, but he did have a home and compound in San Bernardino (well really in between San Bernardino and Palm Springs) in the sixties where he liked to entertain.

Don’t forget to also keep checking out
Pundette’s Sinatra 100 countdown,
Ms Evi’s Sinatra Celebration,
Dispatches from the Camp of the Saints Sinatra,
& Mark Steyn’s Sinatra Songs Of The Century.
It’s a swingin’ world.
Frank had a place in Houston, too. Conquistador Apartments, rather run down now, but an early high rise. The halllways now smell overwhelmingly of cabbage.
